Ukraine, country located in eastern Europe, the second largest on the continent after Russia. The capital is Kyiv (Kiev), located on the Dnieper River in north-central Ukraine. The country covers an area of 600,000 km²; it is about twice the size of Italy or slightly smaller than the US state of Texas.

What is Work Permit in Ukraine?.
Ukraine has excellent prospects for the employment of foreigners. The average salary in the country is 11,579 hryvnia for June 2020, and the minimum wage for a foreigner under Ukrainian law is at least 10 times the minimum wage in Ukraine! To find a job, you need to issue a work permit in Ukraine.

What is application for Ukrainian work permit?
Work permit in Ukraine for foreigners and stateless persons — a document providing the employer with the right to temporarily use the work of a foreigner in a particular workplace or position.
A foreigner may work in one or several posts without restriction to one company, provided that permission is received for each of these posts.
If a foreigner is a highly paid professional, he may, without permission, hold other positions concurrently, if the duration of the contract in such positions does not exceed the validity period of the permit at the main place of work.
It is also allowed to combine work in the positions indicated in the permit with work in the position of a temporarily absent employee, but not more than 60 calendar days a year.
Who needs a work permit in Ukraine?
The employer is required to obtain permission in the case of labor of foreigners who have arrived in Ukraine for employment for a specified period.
Separately, we can distinguish a special category of foreigners, the conditions for obtaining a work permit which differ significantly.
A special category includes:
- foreign highly paid professionals (salaries of at least 50 minimum wages)
- founders and / or participants and / or beneficiaries (controllers) of a legal entity established in Ukraine;
- graduates of universities that are in the top hundred in world rankings, according to the list determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine;
- foreign workers in creative professions;
- Foreign IT professionals.
Visa to Ukraine
- Short-term visa is issued for 180 days with the permit of staying in Ukraine not more than 90 days. Depending on the purpose of travel , the visas are divided into the following types:
- Tourist visa – the invitation is prepared by the Ukrainian tour operator who takes the responsibility for foreign tourists during their stay in Ukraine. Tourist visa has the same rules about it`s issuing as short-term visa, but it depends from the country and it`s given for 30 days (single entry). This position is not fixed legally and it`s issued according to the decision of the consul;
- Private visa the invitation is prepared by the private person and is given on the basis of the invitation from State Migration Service(DMS) on the request of private person (or a foreigner with the permanent residence of Ukraine). The basis documents for applying are the financial support from the private person, the documents which confirm the ownership of property and so on;
- Business visa – the invitation is prepared by the Ukrainian company and is given for foreigners and alien persons , who come to Ukraine for signing the contracts and monitoring of it`s implementation. This invitation is multiple entry and it`s issued on the basis of the invitation from State Migration Service(DMS);
- Long-term visa – such type of visa is issued in case if the foreigner plans to issue a visa to Ukraine for a period of 1 year or more. This type of visa gives the opportunity to stay in Ukraine for maximum period and intend obtaining of a temporary residence permit.

- treatment of foreign states on visas to diplomats;
- Permit for refugee status;
- The invitation of a religious organization registered in the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine;
